How Spicy Audio handles personal data in the shop, the account area and promotional emails.

Data we collect

Account data (email address and password, stored as a salted hash), order data needed to sell and deliver a plugin, and, only if you opt in, your email address for promotional emails. Payments are processed by Stripe; card data never reaches our servers.

Promotional emails

Promotional emails require a separate, unticked consent and a confirmation link (double opt-in). Consent is not a condition for buying or creating an account. You can unsubscribe from every email or from your account at any time.

Visit statistics

We count page visits on our own server (Ahoy, stored in our database). IP addresses are masked before they are stored, and no third-party analytics service receives them. A visitor cookie distinguishes unique visitors. Admin, account and token links are not recorded. [Confirm whether cookie consent is required for this cookie before launch.]
